Summary:

Clutch size, laying date and breeding success data are given for a population of Pied Flycatchers studied over two breeding seasons in a deciduous oak (Quercus pyrenaica) forest in the Sistema Central mountains (Spain) (Table 1). Late breeding and the lowest clutch sizes reported in Europe are the most relevant features of the population.
